From humble beginnings in 1856 provisioning ships in Falmouth’s harbour, With depots in Falmouth, St Austell a Newton Abbot; Westcountry has grown to become the largest and leading wholesaler of local, regional and imported produce in the south west of England.
We are passionate about fresh produce which remains at the heart of our business. We forge strong relationships and work closely with selected growers and suppliers to ensure a constant supply of local and imported, quality, fresh produce.

Alongside our fresh produce, we have developed the Essential Food Co. This provides everything you need from napkins to tinned tomatoes to cleaning products and everything in between with all the branded chilled and store cupboard essentials in stock and immediately accessible.

In 2010 we introduced our Plough to Plate range of local artisan products. This provides a highly efficient and dedicated direct route to market for over 60 smaller producers, as well as giving customers a single and easy ordering platform for this entire collection of unique and inspiring product ranges.

Our Industry-Leading Service
We are the only company that will deliver to you 7-days a week twice daily and once on Sunday.
If you order by 11.30am we will deliver the same day. For next day and Sunday delivery, order by midnight.
