Our thoughts go out to the families in Eastern Spain who have suffered losses due to the destructive power of the recent floods in the area.
The recent extreme weather in Spain has caused widespread damage, with thousands of hectares of fruit and vegetable crops destroyed, leading to major disruptions in both supply and transport.
The expected supply impacts include easy peelers, little gems and iceberg lettuce.
Shortages and price increases may impact brassicas and tomatoes in the near future.
Future quality concerns will impact peppers, aubergines and cucumbers.
We are actively working with our suppliers to navigate these challenges and we will endeavour to keep you updated with our weekly seasonal guide 🧑🌾
