Also known as the ‘Raspberry Orange’ these dark-coloured fruits have a unique, complex flavour with a distinct raspberry taste running through the usual citrus notes. Full of antioxidants not common in citrus fruit, they are generally sweeter and less acidic than their orange counterparts. A natural hybrid generally thought to be of the tangerine and pomelo, the dark red colour develops with low temperatures during the night.
