Fruit Sales 400 x 150

The business that started it all continues to thrive, sourcing the finest fresh produce from Cornwall, the South West, UK and beyond. With market leading customer care and delivery service levels, we look after you so that you can concentrate on your business.

Fruit Sales

The history of WestCountry Fruit Sales goes back to the middle of the nineteenth century when Falmouth was a thriving regional port and the re-supply of ships was of crucial importance. Fast forward one hundred and fifty or more years and WestCountry is still at the heart of the local supply chain, distributing produce to caterers and retailers across the south west, as well as re-stocking the occasional superyacht and cruise ship.

We work closely with our extensive network of farmers and growers to source as much local produce as possible. From staple root vegetables like potatoes, parsnips and swede, through to alliums and brassicas like kale, cabbages and cauliflower. Spring and summer harvests produce salad leaves, berries, summer greens and specialist market garden crops, including the wonderful soft fruit grown here in the south west.

We also import from the rest of the UK and Europe the full range of products that chefs and retailers expect to have available all year round.  We import the citrus and exotic fruits to add colour and flavour to our food, as well as the Mediterranean vegetables that have become staples of many menus and diets.  Our dedicated team of specialist buyers will source the very best produce, based on seasonality and market availability.

We are committed to curating, holding and distributing product ranges that provide solutions to all our different customer’s needs – from the very best in local seasonal produce, to imported exotic lines that add that important point of difference on the daily specials board.
